Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. This has been a favourite of mine almost since its launch and it's my favourite Hugo Boss fragrance of the four that I own. I really want to rate this a love because it opens amazing to me but it kind of tops out there and goes down hill from there. Top notes are Ginger, Grapefruit, Orange, Lime and Lemon; middle notes are Cypress, Mahogany, Cardamom, Geranium and Sage; base notes are Vanilla, Cedar, Benzoin, Vetiver and Patchouli. The ginger smells so fresh at the first spray, and when the middle and base notes kick in, magical smells is inviting so many compliments.

It does smell nice after all and sometimes it's good to have a few perfumes which fade after a few hours because you can wear something different the same day without needing a shower to wash it off first. Regardless - this is a real winner and I’m very sad that I’ve been completely unaware of this for the last 19 years.
