A Wayne Tech logo is seen on the Titans Tower computer monitors. Bruce Wayne’s iconic subsidiary were first seen in ‘Batman’ #443. When Batman discovered files containing paternal results stating that Deathstroke was Damian Wayne's true father, he confronted Slade, asking what he knew of it. Slade told Batman he was aware of the paternity test, and that it was false, as he had previously tested himself as soon as he found out Robin was Talia's son, due to their past relationship. Batman decided to further investigate the situation, telling Slade that until it was solved, Deathstroke would not operate as a mercenary. This caused Batman to intervene with many of Slade's contracts, bringing the two into further conflict. Shortly after this, he came to the Titans' assistance again during the Titans Hunt storyline. The members of the Titans, as well as many inactive members, all disappeared in a manner very similar to how they were abducted during the Judas Contract. Mento, an on-and-off member of the Doom Patrol, hires Deathstroke to find the missing Titans. He eventually discovers with Nightwing that the abductions were the work of the Wildebeest Society, and that their leader was none other than Titans member Jericho, Deathstroke's son. Deathstroke, referred to simply as Slade, appears in Teen Titans, voiced by Ron Perlman. This version is an enigmatic criminal mastermind who seeks to eliminate the Teen Titans, take over Jump City, and turn Robin and later Terra into his apprentice, though Terra sacrifices herself to kill Slade and save the Titans. Slade is resurrected as an undead, pyrokinetic being by Trigon to aid in his conquest of earth. After being betrayed, Slade temporarily joins forces with the Titans to defeat Trigon and regain his mortality. Deathstroke appears in Beware the Batman, voiced by Robin Atkin Downes. This version was originally a CIA agent who was terminated by his mentor Alfred Pennyworth. Deathstroke poses as " Dane Lisslow" to seek revenge against Pennyworth and his new protégé Batman, but loses his right eye during their final battle.

The Deathstroke: The Deathstroke is an ancient Scottish war blade, and Slade's first and favorite sword. He acquired the sword by winning a poker game. [109] At some point, H.I.V.E. had Promethium forged into the blade, making it more durable and capable of absorbing all forms of energy, including magic. [41] It can also cut through nearly anything. (The torso is just one piece.) The shoulder pads hinder articulation in some positions. The sculpting on the belt also prevents the legs from going into deep splits. He has double-jointed knees, but either the sculptwork or the ratchets in the thighs prevent full use of the double joints. Boucher, Geoff (March 13, 2019). He uses his resources to hire lawyers to prevent law enforcement from proving that Slade Wilson and Deathstroke are the same person. Deathstroke has been described as being emotionally crippled, believing everyone else to be "idiots" and struggling to commit despite desperately loving his children and desiring closeness with them. He is a poor father and often suffers from past choices made between his children and wife, Adeline. Tactical Analysis: Deathstroke has been described as a tactical genius and is easily the equal of Batman in terms of strategic planning. He describes his mind as a super-computer designed to process information and break it down with superior tactical and strategic thought. [69] Deathstroke's intellect is deadlier than his sword. He typically out-thinks and out-strategizes everybody in the book. [63] He was even able to capture both Flash and Kid Flash without anyone noticing. [35] Lapetus has commented that Slade possesses "a sharp strategic mind", for a mortal. [75] Slade encountered Green Arrow once more when he was hired to find Doctor Miracle, a man who's blood could heal anything. Slade ran into Oliver when he arrived in Africa to retrieve Doctor Miracle, where Oliver was attempting to do the same. The two engaged in a fight that Slade ultimately won. He then impaled Oliver with his sword, seemingly killing him, although Oliver survived due to Slade being unaware that the blade had some of Doctor Miracle's blood on it. [24] League of Assassins Intimidation: With his reputation of as World's Deadliest Assassin, Slade is able to instill great fear into others. His ability to do this was so great, he was considered a worthy member of the Sinestro Corps. Nightwing, to confront Deathstroke and the H.I.V.E., joined Jericho (Joseph Wilson). During the confrontation, Deathstroke recognized Jericho as his son, which caused him to hesitate. Jericho freed the Titans by possessing his father's body. After Terra died during the battle, Slade was then taken into custody. [11]
