Description

When a DJI Mavic Air battery has not been used for some time they can often slip in to a hibernation mode, this then does not allow the battery to charge or work. When the aircraft is beyond 20 m away from the Home Point, press the RTH button on the remote controller or tap the RTH button in the app, the aircraft will return to home, match with the image information from takeoff, move horizontally, or yaw to change its nose direction to achieve precision landing. So, knowing that, I bought the charging hub to try to keep them safe, as I frequently don't use them for 3-6 months at a time. I also bought two batteries. One brand new from DJI and another used with maybe 20 charge cycles. Since then, I've used them each for about 10 cycles. The controller also has an improved 10km transmission range, so you can feasibly fly the drone up to six miles away, and still get a clear picture on your smartphone’s display. Of course, you should only fly a drone where you can still see it, but it’s a pretty impressive range. While the Mavic Air never went more than 400 feet away from me, I never noticed any interference or interruption of the feed from the camera. DJI Mavic Air 2: Camera features

This is an automatic process connect the battery, upload the code, open the serial monitor with baud rate 115200 and with in 5 seconds your battery will glow. While flying, your drone can crash and get dirt and dust in the battery compartment. This affects the connection between the battery and the compartment terminals. When DJI ship your drone, the batteries are put in a special sleep mode called ‘hibernation’. Before you can use your battery, you have to ‘wake them up’. If none of the above methods of troubleshooting has worked yet, it’s time to physically inspect your battery for any signs of damage or malfunction. This service is only for DJI Mavic Air batteries that do not charge, when connected to a charger they do not show any green LED's or one LED flashes.First, clean the battery terminals with the cotton swab soaked in cleaning alcohol. Make sure to clean any and all debris, dirt any foreign objects. I left the house in June after having used the batteries and having them work just fine. I put both on the charging hub and put them into storage. You must have heard the term “ have you tried turning it off & on again” in IT industry. Well, it works and we can try the same with our drone. To eliminate this as a reason for your issue, closely inspect the battery terminals and the drone compartment terminals and make sure everything seems perfectly aligned.

You have to clean both the battery terminals and the compartment with isopropyl alcohol. Follow the below steps: There are not many ways you can insert the battery into your Mavic Air but there is a chance your battery is not fully inserted.

The second-generation DJI Mavic Air 2 drone offers a number of new photo and video tricks and excellent flight time.

Hi Nigel, I’m Kerry. I read where you said there are other ways to wake up hibernatingbatteries. I tried your posted procedure but nothing, I have no lights green or any color even after waiting hours. However, it is not a good idea to fly your drone in extremely low temperatures. Even if your drone takes off, it can crash midway due to low discharge from the battery. The battery is damaged You can buy the required components from the given best buy links.
