Animated comedy based on the children's books by Guy Bass. Also features Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, Tia Bannon, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady and more. Stitch Head splits his time between keeping the castle safe & the other monsters hidden. He is terrified that even the smallest sign of monstrousness will cause the townsfolk of Grubbers Nubbin to burn the castle to the ground. It is a job he undertakes with care & precision, until one day a tired-looking freak show comes to town; led by its desperate owner Fulbert Freakfinder. The show is in dire need of a new attraction and when Freakfinder meets humble Stitch Head, he knows he has found his star. It could only have happened with Pete Williamson, who illustrated the novels, and I’m ecstatic that he’s on board to help bring Stitch Head to almost-life all over again. I can’t wait to introduce this adaptation of Stitch Head to readers old and new – and in full colour, no less!”

This book is about a mad scientist who created a boy with a stitched head. One day Stitch head went the scientist's lab and found he has created a monster with three arms and one eye. The monster went mad and ran out the lab. Stitch head give the monster some potion which turned him into a scaredycat. Then the creature and stitch head became friends. A brilliant read, with lots of scary characters living in the dark castle….until you realise they are actually all friendly. Stitch has excellent intellectual abilities, he is active and seeks to destroy the surrounding space. At the same time, this hero has such positive qualities as kindness, nobility, and care.Join Stitch Head, a mad professor’s forgotten creation, as he steps out of the shadows into the adventure of an almost-lifetime… The Spider's Lair is Book 4 in the Stitch Head series by award-winning author Guy Bass (Dinkin Dings and the Frightening Things). When Arabella lands up in the orphanage, Stitch Head leaves Grotteskew and its creatures behind and sets out on a daring rescue. But a far more gruesome monster awaits, and soon Stitch Head is trapped in its web with no chance of escape… Watching, hidden in the shadows, is the professor's first, long-forgotten creation, Stitch Head. A tiny, strange-looking fellow made up of bits, pieces, and spare parts, he is quite a sight to behold, with his bald, round head covered in a patchwork of stitches, and mesmerising eyes. It was fiction. It was spooky and it had evil people in it. Stitch head was my favourite as he was the main character and saves the day. High above the little town of Grubbers Nubbin looms Castle Grotteskew. Here, in his haphazard laboratory, the maddest of all mad professors brings his latest monstrous creations to (almost)-life.

Join a mad professor's forgotten creation as he risks it all to save his friends. When an unexpected visitor crash-lands on top of Castle Grotteskew, Stitch Head knows it can only mean trouble. Eccentric explorer, Dotty Dauntless, has bet her fortune on delivering a monster to the Venture Club – the problem is, all the castle’s monsters are as meek as kittens… Key details Genre Film Released 2024 Creator Guy Bass Stars Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, Tia Bannon, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady, Jamali Maddix and Alison Steadman Writer Steve Hudson Directors Toby Genkel and Steve Hudson Producers Sonja Ewers, Mark Mertens, Marc Gabizon and Michael Luda Companies Stitch Head, the Mad Professor's first creation, has long hidden in the shadows of Castle Grotteskew--but now that the newest monster, the Creature, has decided that they are best friends, and the evil Freakfinder wants to kidnap the monsters for his freak show, Stitch Head finds himself cast in the role of hero I think that this book was entertaining, because all of the creatures—they are all unique in their own way. When a travelling circus ringmaster, Fulbert Freakfinder, promises to make him a star, Stitch Head wonders whether this could be his chance of freedom. But first he has to catch the professor’s latest creation – a monstrous three-armed creature that’s causing mayhem in the castle… Watching, hidden in the shadows, is the professor’s first, long-forgotten creation, Stitch Head. Guy and Pete have worked tirelessly to distil Stitch Head’s darkly comic world into a stunning full-colour graphic novel, and I couldn’t be prouder of the book they’ve created," said Harris. "It’s sure to delight Stitch Head fans and introduce his monstrous adventures to a whole new legion of readers.” I like the book Stitch head because Stitch head overcame his fears. It is about a professor who makes crazy inventions. Stitch head was the professor’s first invention when the professor was a little boy. Many years later the professor forgotten all about Stitch head and ended all childish things all about him. Stitch head started to collect potions on the floor, which healed the crazy monsters from destroying the village. Then Stitch head became best friends with a creature that he healed. I would love to recommend this book to everyone because it teaches us to overcome your fears.

Associate publisher Jane Harris acquired world all language rights for the text from Isobel Gahan at Curtis Brown. Art director Charlie Moyer acquired world rights to the art from Alice Williams at Alice Williams Literary. Stitch Head: The Graphic Novel will be published in February 2024 with Stitch Head: The Pirate’s Eye A Graphic Novel following in February 2025. In the maze-like dungeons of Castle Grotteskew, the fightfully insane Professor Erasmus conducts bizarre experiments and creates a menagerie of freakish monsters. But his very first creation has long been forgotten – a small, almost-human creature, known only as Stitch Head. It was an amazing fiction book and the character i liked best was stitch head but i would recommend it to a couple of my friends because i think some of them would think that it was boring!!

I would recommend this for ages 8 plus. At times it can be a little scary! Its very adventurous as well! My favourite character is Stitch Head, the main character. He was very quiet , but was very loyal to his master. He saved the day!I am planning to make some book boxes for my library this year, and this will be perfect to go in a group with some Frankenstein stories I have found for children. It is non-threatening ‘horror’ for early KS2, and might segue some of the children who have loved Beast Quest books into something a little more deep in story structure.
