Description

Whether or not the question is answered correctly, the player who identified the image keeps that card. Did you know that Tom Cruise was studying to become a priest in his teens, or that Baboons live on the ground and not in trees, or that the Great Wall of China is only rumored to be visible from the moon? After playing Eye Know, from Wiggles 3D, an entertaining trivia game for your eyes, you’ll know all these facts and more. If he or she gets it right, that player must face one out of three types of questions: true or false, multiple choice, or open-ended. The number on your second die will indicate the type of question you are destined to face. If you get it right you get to keep the card. If you get it wrong, the card is discarded and the next player will draw a new card to replace it. It’s a great game if you or someone you know is already a fan of the show, and might even help you convert them into playing more board games.

Betting Chips are not included in this game. To play with these rules you will need to supply your own betting chips (or keep score on paper). The object of the game is to collect as many cards as you can in five rounds. The player with the most cards wins the game. If there is a tie, play another round until one player emerges as a clear winner. Keep in mind that this game is designed for tweens, teens, and adults, so the trivia questions vary in difficulty. One distinctive feature of this game is that it combines trivia with identifying images and betting. Another is that players select the topics of their trivia questions. The wider range of challenges means Cranium should appeal to a more diverse playgroup than just the trivia experts. The original game skews a little older due to the difficulty of the challenges, but there are family-friendly versions of the game for young ones. Wits & Wagers Win points not just by answering questions, but betting on who’s most likely to be right Colourbrain simplifies the trivia format by making every question about colours. Each player holds 11 cards of various hues, and has to place down the correct cards to questions such as “What’s the colour of the lid on a jar of Marmite?” The questions are a mix of general knowledge and pop culture, so kids and adults can play together - there’s even a Disney-themed version of the game.
