Very fresh for summer staying power was for days the hair mist very lovely minty and lots of compliments. Unfortunately this note is not very pronounced in this fragrance which is a shame, since I had high hopes for it. The combo of mint and lemon is perfectly divine and fresh, good to wear year-long although best for summer. The heart of this sophisticated and fresh perfume is a beautiful and delcate Water Jasmine, which sings from the heart like crystal at the bottom of a clear rock pool.

Giorgio Armani introduces Acqua di Gioia EDP, a beautiful fresh scent ideal for the summer months, a beautiful floral acquatic that glistens on the skin. When I spray, it lasts me about 20 minutes, and to have it long lasting, it would take you about 20 sprays or so. It also smells familiar, like a scent linked with travel and the sort of boredom that can accompany long waits at an airport.There are so many citrusy, sweet, and fresh fragrances that I like but this one stands apart to my nose. There is a charming sensation of freshness from the very first notes, which are carried along in a deliciously heady current of crushed Mint, with a zest of Italian Limone Primo Fiore Femminello", harvested from the first spring blossoms in Calabria. After 20-30 minutes all the fun mojito vibes have already burned off and you're left with a watery, nondescript floral for a few hours before fading away completely.

I can catch whiffs of something green from the mint, but it smells more like garden plants than cool mint. It just gets better and more complex the longer it's on - I find it totally wearable for day but I prefer it for night. It's deceptive though because they are strong right out of the bottle and then after an hour can only be noticed when you put your nose up to your wrist. This was my signature scent at one point because it's fresh, aquatic, leaves a scent trail and just overall beautiful. The smell does ring aquatic, and if I had to describe what it smells like, it reminds me of the Avatar Flight of Passage ride at Disney World, when they spray that stuff in your face while you ride.I have a bottle of the older formulation (bottle with the round cap) and have had a couple samples of the more recent formulation. Gotta try it on skin, but it might be worth repurchasing instead of Wood Sage and Sea Salt if the longevity is better.
