I Have Been reading this book for a few weeks now and i would say I enjoy it, but I do not think it feels real enough to be a book i would like to read again, the story is about a pizza place with creepy singing dolls who haunt and kill people, the pictures were amazing I thought how detailed it was with the twisted, bloody, gory doll faces but it just doesn't do it for me unless you are into that stuff. As i read through the book it went by pretty slow and boring almost making it hard to get through the book. Although the reading wasnt the best i like how they could sound out the characters emotions and reactions for example if someone was nervous in the book it would display it in pictures or words which made the book more interesting to read.Don’t trust your eyes. Your eyes deceive you every day, filling in the blanks for you in a world of sensory overload. At every moment, your senses are receiving far more information than they can process all at once, and your mind is forced to choose which signals to pay attention to. The things we are familiar with are the things we can-for the most part-ignore.”

The art’s definitely better for the human characters, however all the animatronic characters besides Springtrap maybe all look just a tad bit off to me. It felt like not as much effort was put into them maybe compared to the human characters which makes some sense considering they don’t show up as much compared to them, though it’s still a problem.Generally I do not like horror. That being said, I can appreciate all the lore that is swirling around FNAF. I can’t have a teenage son and teach teens without knowing about FNAF. I didn’t read the entirety of the novel, but the parts I did were well translated into the graphic novel version. The art does help with picturing what’s going on. With the help of neighbor Foxy, a brassy, 60-something ex-hippie who lives across the road, Mouse re-enters the realm of the "twisted ones" to try to rescue whoever is trapped there. Captured by legions of "twisted ones", they encounter Anna, a woman who has been trapped in the realm of magic since the late 1960s. The race of beings which created the automatons called "twisted ones" have long died out, and the "twisted ones" have been breeding Anna and a very old man named Uriah to try to recreate them. This has failed, and now Anna has lured Mouse into the realm so she can be freed and Mouse can take her place. Although Charlie, the main character, was EXTREMELY annoying, this still managed to be another successful cozy read for me. Also something that became relevant to me upon reading this, while having already read all three original novels, is that Clay feels a bit too suspicious at times. He steals the animatronics knowing that there’s dead corpses of children from a case he worked on years ago and yet just keeps them in his basement. Hearing something like that almost makes you think that there’s going to be something later on of maybe him being somewhat similar to William. However it’s really just there to have a somewhat out of nowhere and kind of weird scene of the animatronics just beating up and tearing through the twisted ones.

There is also no inconsistencies to the Novel adaptation's story like in The Silver Eyes, all in all I wish it was longer ! It was so enjoyable. :) Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Twisted Ones is a 2017 novel written by Cawthon and Breed-Wrisley. It is based on Cawthon’s video-game series Five Nights at Freddy’s, and is the sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes (2015). Firstly, this novel was more oriented towards plot it felt like. The Silver Eyes had more of a lore based feel; events, imagery, possible timeline indicators. It didn’t seem to have as much of a cohesive plot, the first felt more like snapshots of time. The second however, didn’t switch between scenes and characters as rapidly, it felt much better written story wise than the Silver Eyes (at least for the graphic novel adaptation).
