slowly but surely, their mutual feelings and need and deep-seated desperation for each other becoming unstoppable. He has a good construction company business, his own house, and he keeps to himself most of the time. They both have baggage of experiences that shaped them into the people they are and just try to put their lives altogether to work for them.

It wasn't always easy and i liked how the author portrayed their struggles and fears with everything because it was real and it was never glossed over. I am so relieved that DKTB turned out to be so fantastic cause I got to tell you, No Tomorrow is a tough act to follow. All of these items, as sensitive as Carian was with them, just made so their entire relationship was built on a pity foundation.

They brought nothing to the forward momentum, yes they're written well enough (well the 1st one was, I didn't really read the rest, just skimmed) Honestly, I wish author's would stop thinking smut brings anything to romance, it really doesn't for a lot of us. I was stunned in how this story just made me feel to the heart, and in a way that was genuine and slowly built that worked in the best of ways. I’ve never experienced this agony of looking in the eye of the person I love and seeing good-bye there.

Skylar suffers from a mental illness and struggles in eating many foods as she had some food/meal-based trauma when she was a child. The chemistry between the two of them was there from the start, but had to be given time, and the wait was rewarded! They made each other better, and things were better for these two abandoned souls when they were together. Thanks to the amazing writing, the characters were brought to life so vividly in my mind - it was like they were right in front of me.Then boom we're hit with another one near the end because that's what they think we all want as part of the HEA - nah. Although the heroine was of age, I can see where this story could be a turn off or trigger for some as she was just 18 (hero in his thirties). She is a 18 year old high schooler, with a ton of mental and physical health issues and extremely neglectful parents. with a plan that seems a million miles away, Skyler does the only thing that she can do right now which is to take it one day at a time and pray everything will work out for the best in the end. Jude is the furthest thing from creepy and due to Skylar’s upbringing she’s more mature than most her age, so this really worked for me!

As much as I love marriage of convenience, you really have to be okay with the age gap to enjoy this. Jude and Skylar’s journey was different and unique, and I was very happy when they managed to reach their hea with a sweet and beautiful epilogue. Vlatko gives Bryan his blessing to marry Masha for real, but he declines despite his feelings for her.Once again she delves In a story that's firmly ensconced in her comfort zone, Drowning the readers in a sea of pain and tears in this book. There are some great goodies that are available to us this week and I am so excited for some of these and to pick some of them up here.

In a short span of time, Desiree has been able to build a brand and following dedicated to her love and passion for bringing an author's characters and story to life with her meticulous approach of study, commitment, and enthusiasm for the industry. Later, when we’re home, we take Cassie in the backyard to run around, and Skylar puts Gus in a cat stroller and pushes her around the perimeter of the property. As an avid romance readers, I can't say I remember every book I read, but somehow, each Carian Cole book I've read, does. Skylar and Jude helped each other through tough times and didn’t give up on each other and It was a beautiful story of two people who need each other.

Somehow, she’s squirmed her way under my skin, and surprisingly enough, I don’t want to dig her out. He did however overcame this part of his life, but not before his sister disappeared at sixteen without a word, to Jude or any other family member.
